I'm so grateful to be married to my best friend who fills my life with love and laughter. To be the mother of 3 amazing kids. To have parents who are involved in our lives and who I can depend on for anything. What are you thankful this year?
I loved making my Gratitude album last November, but I knew I just wouldn't have the time to get one complete this year. I still wanted to make a small gratitude layout for my album, and The Good Life mambiSTICKS were perfect for it! "Start each morning with a grateful heart" - I love this quote and wanted to make it the focal point of this layout. I cut a gold foil mambiSHEET down to 6x8 and placed the sticker in the middle. I placed the thankful, blessed and grateful circle stickers right onto my page protector. I filled in the rest of the pockets with some photos, mambiSHEETS and a few POCKET PAGES™ clear stickers.

I've been a stay at home mom now for nearly 4 years. I left my job shortly after having this sweet little guy and realized that I just didn't want someone else with him all day while I worked. He was baby #3 and I knew he was probably going to be the last. As I sat down last week planning what I was going to do when he started Pre-K, I had to put this layout together. Usually when I put together my weekly layouts, I focus on just what we did and where we went. Sometimes I forget to remember to include the regular little moments. Like how he plays with the same box of animals every single day. Or how for the last 3 years, he always has his blankie wrapped around his thumb when he's sleeping. This kid will do anything for some chocolate! With school, clubs, sports, homework etc. I forget to take the camera (actually, phone lol) out and capture these little things I see all the time. I need to remember to do this more often because this is one of my favorite layouts! I used the Sunshine core kit. I also need to sit back and enjoy all these little moments because they go so fast.
Our schedule has been so hectic since the kids have been in school. I'm still trying to get caught up on Project Life. I did a quick and simple layout for Week 40. We had a new addition to our family this week, my nephew. I snapped this photo of my kids with my brother's kids shortly after they came home from the hospital and blew it up to 6x8. I used letter stickers right on the photo along with enamel dots to mimic the dots on the journaling card. I used a 4x6 card from the Strawberry core kit with a "Hello" acrylic piece from Color Cast Designs. The "live laugh love" banner also came from a card in the Strawberry core kit that I cut out and pasted to the photo. I'm hoping to find some more time in the next few weeks to get up to date, I'm not too far off!
This week my daughter's first grade class went to the pumpkin patch with their eighth grade buddies. I'm so happy that I was able to be a driver and be there with her. I made this layout with just the Midnight core kit and the cute acrylic pumpkin is from Color Cast Designs. I love how the orange pumpkin pops against all the black and white!

Fall is my favorite season since I love pumpkin anything! Every October we take our kids up to Apple Hill so they can decorate little pumpkins, go through corn mazes, ride ponies and have apple and pumpkin treats! Over the last few years I've seen so many different and fun fall decorations, including beautifully painted and patterned pumpkins, not just your typical orange jack-o-lanterns! This inspired my cute little patterned paper pumpkins! I grabbed a few of my favorite mambi patterned papers and my circle and oval punches to make these fun little pumpkins for my title card. All you need is 3 circles or ovals for each pumpkin, and I hand cut the stems from the same patterned papers. I used a mambi banner with black letter stickers to complete my title card. mambi has some really fun clear stickers, I used one on this photo we took in the car as we were getting ready to leave. I must say, I've gotten pretty good at taking family selfless lol! I used a POCKET PAGES™ date card on this page along with a gold and kraft polka dot patterned paper that I cut down to 3"x4". I printed out my journaling and cut that into little strips to fit on the card. I finished the page off with a few embellishments on the photos. I hope you liked my little paper pumpkins! Head on over to the mambi blog to find more inspiration from the rest of the design team!
I love all the Project Life kits that Stampin' Up has released over the last few months. One kit I thought I wouldn't use much is the Little Moments Card Collection and Accessory Pack since my youngest is 3 years old. But I found that most of the cards aren't specifically baby related and the kits are quite versatile. It's become my favorite and most used so far! Here are a few recent layouts using these kits:
When I found out in April that Stampin' Up! was teaming up with Project Life to make some exclusive kits, I was beyond thrilled! I've been using Project Life for the last three years to document my life, it's just so much easier and less time consuming than traditional scrapbooking. Best of all, all my scrapbooks are current! The first kit that was released was Everyday Adventure, which is what I used for this layout. I used the Card Collection, Accessory Pack, Day to Day Stamp Set, Pens and 12x12 Page Protectors. I love the bright fun colors in this kit!
